US President Donald Trump threatened to "blow up and completely obliterate" Iran's electric plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island if ongoing negotiations fail, while Israel simultaneously announced strikes on key Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military research sites in Tehran, escalating regional tensions.
Trump's warning, delivered via Truth Social, targets critical Iranian infrastructure, including desalination facilities, and demands the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for business. He stated these actions would be retaliation for past Iranian actions against US soldiers.
