Vinci SA's subsidiary, VINCI Highways, has signed an agreement with funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management to acquire a portfolio of nine toll highway concessions in India, valuing the portfolio at approximately 150 billion Indian rupees.
This strategic acquisition involves the Safeway Concessions portfolio, which comprises nearly 700 km of highways spanning Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. These critical infrastructure assets are situated on key national routes, including the NH-16 corridor, an integral part of the Golden Quadrilateral that connects Kolkata and Chennai.
The concessions operate under Toll Operate Transfer (TOT) contracts with the National Highway Authority of India, featuring long-term concession terms ranging from 2048 to 2058, ensuring stable revenue generation through toll collections. Vinci SA (VCISY, DG.PA), a French-based global leader in concessions, energy solutions, and construction, expects the financial closing of this significant deal by the end of 2026.
Following the announcement, Vinci's stock was trading 0.43% lower at EUR 128.30 on the Paris Stock Exchange.
