Aerospace group Thales has reported a 9.1% increase in nine-month revenues to 15.26 billion euros, exceeding analyst expectations.

The company also saw a 9% rise in new orders, reaching 16.76 billion euros. The defense division was a key driver, with revenues up 13.9%.

Thales secured an initial contract for the European Union's IRIS² secure communications constellation. While the space business grew as expected, the Cyber & Digital segment experienced a 3.8% sales drop due to the integration of Imperva, acquired in 2023.

The company reaffirmed its financial targets for the year, despite acknowledging competitive pressures in the space sector.
