Daimler Truck Holding AG reported a challenging fourth quarter for 2025, with adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) declining 29% year-over-year to 780 million euros.
Revenue also fell 11% to 12 billion euros, primarily due to significant declines in key markets. Trucks North America experienced a substantial 29% drop in revenue, while the Mercedes-Benz Trucks unit saw a more modest 1% decrease.
For the full year 2025, the German manufacturer sold 422,510 trucks and buses, an 8% reduction from the previous year. Despite the weak performance, there was a silver lining: incoming orders in Q4 2025 rose by 13%, driven by a recovery in North America and strong demand for Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The company proposed a flat dividend of 1.90 euros per share.
Looking ahead to 2026, Daimler Truck anticipates industrial business revenue between 42 billion and 46 billion euros, a decrease from 45.91 billion euros in 2025. Adjusted EBIT for 2026 is projected to be between 3.2 billion and 3.7 billion euros, down from 3.78 billion euros in the prior year.
The company cautioned that this outlook remains subject to macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties, particularly concerning U.S. trade policy.
