Torch Key Asset Management (TKAM), a new middle-market private equity firm, has officially launched with significant backing from GCM Grosvenor's Elevate Fund.
TKAM, co-founded by Kimberly Reed, Jack Rosenberg, and Jennifer Kwon Chou, specializes in control buyouts of complex, transitional, and carve-out situations within the food and beverage and industrial products and services sectors. The founding team brings substantial experience, having collectively deployed $1.6 billion in equity at prior firms.
GCM Grosvenor's Elevate Fund, which closed its inaugural fund in December 2024 with nearly $800 million in committed capital, provided catalytic anchor capital and will offer ongoing strategic support. This investment represents the fourth for the Elevate Fund, highlighting GCM Grosvenor's strategy to support emerging private equity managers.
The partnership aims to leverage TKAM's operational expertise and GCM Grosvenor's extensive resources to identify and unlock overlooked value in middle-market companies navigating key inflection points, positioning them for durable growth.
