Live Nation reported stronger-than-expected financial results for the past year, with revenue climbing 9% to $25.2 billion and operating profit surging over 50% to $1.3 billion.
The entertainment giant also saw robust concert attendance, with 159 million fans attending its events, up from 151 million the previous year. Executives highlighted sustained momentum in ticket sales for upcoming tours, with 67 million tickets already purchased for early 2026.
These positive figures, which led to a 3.5% rise in shares, come as the company faces a looming federal antitrust trial. The US Department of Justice sued Live Nation in 2024, alleging it illegally monopolized the live music industry through its ownership of Ticketmaster, concert promotion, and venues, leading to higher prices and worse service.
The case is expected to go to trial next month, amidst ongoing public backlash over ticket prices, notably after issues with Taylor Swift's 2022 Eras Tour.
