ServiceNow introduced its AI Control Tower, a new solution designed to help companies track and manage their rapidly expanding portfolio of AI technologies, including agents, LLMs, and workflows, aiming to provide crucial oversight and compliance, especially in regulated sectors.
The AI Control Tower, discussed by CTO Pat Casey at Knowledge25, monitors AI agent effectiveness, records metrics like calls and accuracy, and enforces compliance guidelines for approved LLM vendors. While currently offering limited third-party integration with companies like Microsoft and Google due to data sharing limitations, ServiceNow is actively pursuing expanded partnerships.
The system also addresses security concerns like prompt injection attacks and tracks model defects. Although in early development, the Control Tower provides valuable dashboards and data structures, with future plans to enhance visibility into third-party AI agent actions and data processing, positioning it as a critical tool for autonomous process management.
