Heineken N.V. announced the nomination of Rafael Oliveira as its new Chair of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026, following a rigorous global search, with the Supervisory Board confident his leadership will accelerate the EverGreen 2030 strategic agenda.
Oliveira, CEO of JDE Peet’s N.V. since 2024 and previously slated to lead Keurig Dr Pepper’s US $16 billion Global Coffee Co., brings over two decades of transformational leadership. His tenure at The Kraft Heinz Company, where he managed a US $7+ billion international portfolio, demonstrated a consistent track record of driving focused strategies, strong operational execution, and improved financial performance.
Peter Wennink, Chair of the HEINEKEN Supervisory Board, and Mrs. Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken both lauded Oliveira's strategic clarity, operational rigor, and people leadership, believing these qualities are crucial to build on HEINEKEN’s foundations.
