Chipotle reported a decline in same-store sales and traffic for the fourth quarter, marking a significant downturn, but still managed to exceed Wall Street expectations in revenue.
The coffee chain’s U.S. same-store sales rose 4% in the latest quarter, the strongest showing since late 2023.
The credit-card company said higher-income clients are spending on restaurants and luxury items, and that they continue to seek out its premium cards.
AT&T recorded higher sales in the fiscal fourth quarter, boosted by increases in revenue at its wireless and consumer businesses.
Equifax reported higher fourth-quarter revenue as its mortgage and workforce solutions businesses shrugged off weakness in the broader housing and hiring markets.
